What is Key Levels?
Key Levels draws the horizontal levels most intraday traders mark by hand every morning. Period Opens puts a line at each daily, weekly and monthly open, extended until the next one. Previous Highs/Lows draws the high and low of the last completed day and week.
Both components are on by default, because together they frame the session. The open sits inside the range that the previous high and low describe, and each level is labelled on the chart.
This is a closed-source premium script. It runs on Altrady's servers, so only its output reaches your chart and its code is not published.
Components
Key Levels combines 2 tools in one script. Each one has its own switch in the settings.
- Period Opens. Horizontal lines at the daily, weekly and monthly open, the levels price started from, each extended until the next period opens.
- Previous Highs/Lows. The previous day's and week's high and low, the range the market just completed, with an optional midline.
How to use Key Levels
- Previous day high and low. PDH and PDL are among the most watched references on an intraday chart. A move through either is often the first structure break of the day, and a sweep of one is a classic liquidity read.
- The daily open. ICT's view is that price tends to return to the day's open. Trading above it is read as a bullish day so far, below it as bearish.
- Weekly and monthly opens. The same idea on a larger scale. Price holding above the weekly open is a simple read on who controls the week.
- The previous range midline. With the midline on, the 50% level of the previous period's range marks its equilibrium.

How it works
The period boundaries are read from each bar's own timestamp. A day is a UTC day, a week starts on Monday and a month on the first calendar day. Offset Hours shifts every boundary together, so a value of 5 puts the daily open at 05:00 UTC, which is New York midnight in winter.
While a period runs, the script tracks its high and low. When the period changes, the previous period's extremes become lines, and the new open gets its own line. Max Opens and Max Periods decide how many older levels stay visible, one each by default.
The open alerts fire when a bar closes across the latest open from the other side. The high and low alerts fire when a bar closes at or through the previous high or low after closing inside it.
Limitations
- Daylight saving is manual. Boundaries are in UTC. If you align them to another market's day, adjust Offset Hours when its clocks change.
- One switch per period. With both components on, Daily switches both the daily open and the previous day's high and low, and Weekly likewise. To show only one of them, turn off the other component.
- Close based alerts. A wick through a level does not fire an alert. Only a close beyond it does.
- No previous month high or low. Previous Highs/Lows covers the day and the week. The month only has its open.
- Levels are not signals. These are reference prices. What price does at them is still a reading.

Yes. Key Levels is a closed-source premium script. It runs on Altrady's servers, so only its output reaches your chart and the code is never shared. You buy it once in the Altrady marketplace, on its own, in the Sessions & Time bundle or in the Altrady Complete Suite, and it needs a paid Altrady plan to run. It is also included with your first annual Premium subscription.
Use the Get it in Altrady button on this page to open its listing in the Altrady marketplace. Once it is in your account, open the indicator picker on any chart in Altrady Charts and add Key Levels like any other indicator. Its settings are in the indicator's settings panel.
