19 - Activate your device

Activate Your Device For Trading

Suppose your account already has connected exchange API accounts, but they have been added to a different device. In that case, you will see a message that Trading is unavailable, and you must activate the device.

To do that you need to open the app on the device that has been used for adding your exchange accounts. Go to Settings > Exchange API key and click “Setup new device”.

This will give you a 5-word password. Now open the app on the new device. Settings > Exchange API key and click on the top message.

The input will appear, just paste your 5-word password here and then hit “Activate”. Now your device has access to your API keys and can be used for trading.

In case you don’t have access to your old device, you will need to add the exchange API keys manually again.‍
