Frequently asked questions
Does Altrady support Hyperliquid?
Yes — Altrady fully supports Hyperliquid Futures trading. Once connected through an API wallet, you can trade on Hyperliquid just like any centralized exchange inside the Altrady trading terminal.
How do I connect my Hyperliquid account to Altrady?
Hyperliquid requires a wallet-based API wallet instead of traditional API keys.
To connect:
1. Log in to Altrady → Settings → Exchange Account API Keys
2. Click + Connect Account
3. Select Hyperliquid
4. Paste your User Public Key
5. Generate and authorize a new API Wallet on Hyperliquid
6. Copy the API Wallet Address (API Key) and Private Key (Secret) into Altrady
7. Click Save → Altrady will verify access to your balance
Full step-by-step instructions are available in our Hyperliquid support guide.
Why doesn’t Hyperliquid allow IP whitelisting?
Hyperliquid is a decentralized exchange (DEX).
Since it runs on-chain and uses wallet authentication instead of server endpoints, it does not support IP whitelisting for API wallets. This is a normal limitation for DEX infrastructure.
What is an API Wallet on Hyperliquid?
An API Wallet is Hyperliquid’s version of an API key pair. It includes:
1. API Wallet Address → used as the API Key in Altrady
2. Private Key → used as the Secret in Altrady
3. A validity period (up to 180 days)
API wallets must be authorized before they can be used in external platforms like Altrady.
How long are Hyperliquid API wallets valid?
API wallets have a maximum validity of 180 days.
Once the validity ends, the API wallet expires and:
1. Trading will stop
2. Balances will no longer update
3. You must generate a new API Wallet on Hyperliquid
4. Then update the API Key + Secret in your existing Altrady Trading Account
We recommend setting a calendar reminder to avoid interruptions.
